Hi, I'm Chrissy, and I want to thank you for stopping by!

I was raised on a 170-acre beef farm where hard work, faith, and family were simply a way of life. Growing up as a Mennonite and the daughter of a coal miner taught me the value of rolling up my sleeves, making the most of what you have, and taking pride in creating things with your own hands.

​

From an early age, I learned the traditions of home canning, baking, and sewing alongside family members who believed that homemade was always made with love. Those lessons have stayed with me throughout my life and are the heart behind everything I create today.

​

For years, I shared my homemade jams, jellies, preserves, baked goods, and handcrafted aprons only with family and close friends. They continually encouraged me to start selling them, saying the quality and taste were too good to keep to myself. To be honest, I was hesitant. These recipes and traditions have always been personal, and I never imagined turning them into a business.

​

One of the things that makes many of my recipes special is my commitment to using quality, local ingredients whenever possible. Many of my jams, jellies, and preserves, along with select baked goods, are made with locally sourced Colorado honey. Not only does it add wonderful natural sweetness and flavor, but it's also my way of supporting local beekeepers and sharing a taste of Colorado in every bite.

After much encouragement from the people who have enjoyed my homemade goods for years, I finally decided to take that leap of faith and open Chrissy's Cupboard.

​

Every jar is prepared with care, every baked good is made from scratch, every apron and memory quilt is handcrafted with attention to detail, and every item reflects the values I learned growing up on the farm. Whether it's a jar of homemade preserves, a fresh-baked treat, a handcrafted apron, or a treasured T-shirt or memory quilt, I hope each piece brings comfort, warmth, and a little bit of the love that goes into making it.
